We are the Staggering Slammers from Mobile, AL.

The Staggering Slammers tennis team is best described as a group of semi - talented players who prefer the social aspect of the game at least equally with the competitive aspect. Although we strive to win our matches, we are not the type of players who get bent out of shape over the game. We like to have fun both on and off the court, and yes, we have been known to consume a little bit of adult beverages both on and off the court as well. Food is also a key ingredient to the glue that holds the team together.

Although the team had been together for several years, we first took the name "Staggering Slammers" in January of 2009. The name came naturally as it appropriately fit our style of play. The Staggering Slammers continue playing decent tennis while at the same time fully enjoying the social aspect of the game. Who knows what’s in store for the Staggering Slammers in the future, but it will certainly be met with plenty of liquid refreshment!
